UWS wins 2009 Premier's NSW Export Award

It is our pleasure to announce that the University of Western Sydney has
been awarded the prestigious Premier's NSW Export Award and has been
presented as a National Finalist at the 47th Australian Export Awards in
Canberra on 20th November, 2009.

The Premier's NSW Export Awards is an annual program which aims to
recognise excellence in the export of goods and services by NSW
business. The Education and Training category was won by UWS for
outstanding innovation and export achievement in the field of education
and training services, expertise and curriculum.

The award firmly recognises UWS' reputation as a leading international
education destination for international students.

We are very proud of this achievement which acknowledges UWS' commitment
to internationalising its curriculum, teaching and learning; and
preparing our international students for success in a global community.
In turn, our international students provide a valuable contribution to
UWS - enriching classroom experiences with global perspectives and
enlivening cultural life on UWS campuses.
